Senior League (16U) baseball is played within the Auckland Baseball Association league under Little League rules. It is classed as a competitive grade by the ABA so games are scored and player statistics are tracked. Games are played on a full adult sized diamond for the first time – this provides a great development level and a pathway to the competitive Big League (19U) grade. Many players at this age have played through the grades, however we also get some new players joining. These new players are taught skills first and soon learn the game. b.
Eligibility: Cannot turn 17 before 1/9/2026 (contact the club if you wish to seek dispensation)
Training: Mon + Wed, 1730-1930, Unsworth (with 14U)
Games: Saturdays at 0930 with home games at TKSP/Unsworth and away games at other clubs.
Gear: Standard club arrangements; Male players must wear a box / athletic protector
